Bocce Streaming, Broadcasting, and Tipping
Hey folks, I'm Tony Donofrio and I'm pleased to present some new features that we're cooking up.
We've been building toward this for a while, and it's finally here: bocce livestreaming and bocce tipping are both live on the platform.
This is a big one, so let's break down what's actually new.
🎥 Live stream your own bocce games
Any user can go live straight from the app — no crew, no production truck, just you, your phone, and a court. Hit go live, and anyone can tune in and watch your match happen in real time, comment along, see the score, and be there with you for the good throws (and the... less good ones).
🏟️ Official bocce broadcasting
On top of livestreams, we hope that official broadcasts will make their home on BocceLabs. That's when there's ref calling the game, a scorekeeper keeping the live stats, and a production crew operating the broadcast.
If you've wanted to actually follow a match like you'd follow any other sport — score on screen, commentary, production — this is it.
Think BBN. Think OBS-integrations. Think free streams. Think pay per view.
This feature is tucked behind the curtain for power users, so please inquire to have us activate your account for broadcasting.
🙏 Support bocce with tipping
Here's the part that ties it together:
BocceBux, is a digital wallet tipping system operating on BocceLabs via Stripe payments. You can now throw BocceBux directly at the people making these streams happen or you can tip the featured players in the stream.

Tip a streamer directly: - 🎁 Your tip drops right into the live comments with your message attached (80 characters — make 'em count). - 💰 It lands in the streamer's wallet as BocceBux. - 🏦 They can cash it out to their actual bank account. This isn't a like button. It's real support, for real people, live-broadcasting a bocce match because they love it.
Tip the crew on an official broadcast:
Different mechanic, same idea — your tip and your message show up live on screen during the broadcast, so the ref or scorekeeper working that match knows the community sees them and appreciates them, in the moment, in front of everybody watching.
Tip a player appearing in the livestream or broadcast:
Toss BocceBux directly to a Player in the platform that appears on the screen in the live to support their efforts.

Why this matters
We're launching livestreaming, official broadcasts, and tipping all together because they're really one idea:
Bocce is more fun when more people can watch it and engage with it. And the people making that happen — whether it's one fan with a phone or a full BBN-like crew — deserve a direct way for the community to say "that mattered."
